This recipe is so amazing it tastes great so the whole family will love it and easy enough that you can include your kids when you make it–or even let them make it themselves[with supervision of course]
I also love to double the recipe for the topping and layer it by putting half in the middle of the batter and the rest on top:] it is definitely a recipe that will stay in my family for years to come!

I am so happy to find this recipe here! My Dad (who was never the head chef in our family!) made this coffee cake every Sunday – and never gave up reading the recipe off bisquick box!! We are all bummed it is no longer on there!!

Use this recipe, in addition to the 2 T sugar add 1/4 c brown sugar. Stir in blueberries and you have the best blueberry muffins around.

I add chopped apples and some nuts to the batter and make apple coffee cake, it’s a family favorite!!

This is MUCH better if you double the recipe for the topping. Try it, you will see what I mean.

I made it this weekend, but the Streusel topping set on top. I had a sweet topped cake… I remember it being all throughout the cake. Suggestions?
